NRCS Central Executive Ad Hoc Committee Commenced the Office July 30, 2025 A newly formed Ad-hoc Central Executive Committee of Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) commenced its office on 30 July 2025. This nine-member committee was formed by the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, on 25 July 2025. The Committee’s main mandate is to amend the NRCS statutes and conduct elections for a new Central Executive Committee, within a three-month timeframe. NRCS extends its gratitude to all stakeholders, including the Government of Nepal, MWCSC, MoHA, the Kathmandu District CDO, IFRC, and all well-wishers for their ongoing support. The newly formed Ad-hoc Committee now seeks the assistance of all stakeholders to complete its critical mandate: amending the NRCS statutes and organizing elections, which are essential steps in restoring NRCS’s historical good image and reputation.

NRCS Plan for 2025

The 8th Development Plan 2021–2025 is the road map of Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) until 2025. Its key purpose is to reduce uncertainty about our future and develop a shared understanding about our engagement approach with the future. Planning means change, therefore, this plan has been guided by strategies related to innovation to bring changes as well. This plan has tried to respond to these basic questions: who it serves and where? Where are we now? Where do we want to go? How will we get there? What does it do? and How well did we do (monitoring and review) it?
